Background

Head height
Head height 31-36mm, covering 70-80% of the frame
Glasses
Allowed (no glare, eyes visible)
Recency
Taken within the last 6 months
How to prepare
Sort these before your appointment and the photo passes first time.
- Incorrect dimensions — Photo must be exactly 35x45mm in biometric format
- Wrong background — Background must be plain white or light grey with no patterns or shadows
- Face not centered — Face must be positioned in the center of the frame with proper head size
- Eyes not visible — Both eyes must be open, clearly visible, and looking directly at the camera
- Poor lighting — Photo must be evenly lit with no shadows on face or background
- Photo too old — Photo should reflect your current appearance (taken within 6 months)
