Will this output pass as my actual passport photo?
This tool only crops your photo to the correct 35×45mm dimensions. It does not check the other things UK and Schengen rules require — head size (70–80% of frame), background colour, neutral expression, no shadows, no glasses. If you upload a phone photo with the wrong head crop or a busy background, the resized output will still fail at the passport office. How many pixels should the output be?
At 300 DPI (standard print quality) a 35×45mm photo is 413×531 pixels. UK and EU acceptance offices accept this. For higher-resolution prints, 600 DPI gives 826×1062 pixels — also accepted. The tool outputs at 300 DPI by default.
Is 35×45mm the same as 3.5×4.5cm?
Yes — identical. Some country forms write the spec in millimetres, others in centimetres.
