What size is a Japan My Number Card photo?
35×45mm (3.5×4.5cm). This is the standard Japanese ID photo format, same as passport size. The photo is printed smaller (2.75×2.20cm) on the actual card.
Can I wear glasses in my My Number Card photo?
Yes, but the frames must not cover your eyes. Sunglasses and tinted lenses are not allowed. The eyes must be clearly visible.
What are the digital photo requirements for online application?
JPEG format only, RGB color mode, 480-6000 pixels for width and height, file size between 20KB and 7MB. HEIC format is not accepted.
Can I wear a head covering in my photo?
Religious head coverings (hijab, turban) and medical coverings (wigs, hats for medical reasons) are permitted, but the outline of your face must be clearly visible.
Is the Japan My Number Card photo the same as passport photo?
