How to prepare
Sort these before your appointment and the photo passes first time.
- Wrong background — Background must be plain white with no colors, patterns, or shadows
- Face not centered — Your face must be clearly visible and centered in the photo frame
- Wrong head size — Head height should occupy 70-80% of the photo height
- Wearing glasses — Remove glasses to avoid reflections and ensure eyes are clearly visible
- Expression not neutral — Maintain a neutral expression with mouth closed and both eyes open
- Photo too old — Photo must be taken within the last 6 months showing current appearance
- Shadows on face — Ensure even lighting with no shadows on face or background
